I'm disappointed in Democrats, and you should be too!
It's been almost 2 weeks since the mid-term elections, and I've taken that time to figure out what could have possibly happened and who dissapointed me the most.

A friend sent me this, she found an old article that her father had. She didn’t know when it was published, there was no date, but had to be a while ago, there’s no mention of electronics. She also doesn’t know the name of the publication, but whenever it was, it’s still so valid today.
I’ve heard a few of these come out of the mouths of politicians recently:
Daffy definitions as the ammunition to deflate fuzzy words and phrases:
It’s in process — so wrapped up in red tape that the situation is almost hopeless.
We’ll look into it — by the time the wheel makes a full turn, we assume that you’ll have forgotten about it too.
Program — any assignment that can’t be completed by one phone call.
Expedite — to confound confusion with commotion.
Coordinator — the guy who has a desk between two expediters.
Consultant (or Expert) — any ordinary guy with a briefcase more than 50 miles away from home.
Meeting — a mass mulling by masterminds.
Conferences — a place where conversation is substituted for the dreariness of labor and the loneliness of thought.
Negotiate — to seek a meeting of minds without a knocking together of heads.
Reliable source — the guy you just met.
Informed source — the guy who told the guy you just met.
Unimpeachable source — the guy who started the rumor originally.
Clarification — to fill in the background with so many details that the foreground goes underground.
We will advise you in due course — if we figure it out, we’ll let you know.
Let’s get together on this — I’m assuming you’re as confused as I am.
Forwarded for your consideration — you hold the bag awhile.
The gall of Mitt Romney. Is this the kind of man you want for President? Someone who will look you and the TV cameras straight in the eye and blatantly lie? Really? This man will say anything to get elected.
Enough said… except for this, not one single thing Mitt Romney says in this video is true. Fortunately, the truth is also in this video.
Why do People vote against their own best interests?
I must admit, this is the most perplexing thing to me. As a semi-intelligent person, I don’t understand what goes through people’s minds. It reminds me of Jim Jones and his followers who drank the poison Kool-aid.
The Republican Party has gone crazy. Not only is the GOP side of the Presidential Election being controlled by billionaires and huge corporations, Congress is being controlled as well. The Republicans are told how to vote, and if they don’t go along, the Tea Party threatens them with Tea Party opponents in their next reelection bid.
Case in point: When was the last time ALL Republican women in Congress voted against Women’s issues? Simple. Every time since the 2010 Election. That doesn’t even make logical sense. Traditionally women stick together across party lines, except for Michele Bachmann of course, she too odd to count. For these smart women to vote against their own interests, something has to be going on to influence their votes.
I thought politicians went to Capitol Hill to do good for the American people. Apparently I was wrong. Republicans spend every waking hour and every vote getting reelected. If they vote correctly, the Tea Party lets them keep their seat and may even throw them some money for the next campaign. They don’t care about the American people anymore.
Look at the difference between the Obama and Romney campaigns. Obama’s donations are small and come from many individual donors. Romney’s donations are large and come from a few Billionaires and Corporations.
When the election is over, who are these two candidates going to be beholden to if they win? Their donors. For President Obama, that would be the American people. For Mitt, that would be the Billionaires and Corporations.
So let me ask you, what happens to you if Mitt Romney wins? Are you a member of the exclusive 1%? If so, you’d have life made. If you are not so lucky and belong to the 99% like I do, you’d be f….., sorry I can’t put that kind of language in print.
Here’s what I don’t understand, why would anyone who is not in the 1% vote for Mitt Romney. Why would anyone vote to voluntarily vote against their own best interests to return to the Bush failed policies? Why would they vote to further decimate the economy and their own livelihood?
Best case scenario: President Obama gets re-elected, we vote out all Republicans in Congress who are now running for re-election. We all prosper, no longer trickling down with failed policies.
Here Mitt, Elizabeth Warren has something to tell you.
I haven’t posted for the past few weeks. I’ve spent the past few weeks reflecting on many things, I’ll be posting some of my random and jumbled thoughts over the next few days.
I have to admit I’ve been a little depressed about the state of our country, Republicans as a whole and the Supreme Courts decision on Citizens United and how our elections can now be bought by a few rich Tea Party guys looking for favors.
Keep this in mind people, when a rich Tea Party Billionaire helps someone get elected (Mitt Romney, Scott Walker) they want to be paid back. We know the Koch Brothers want to get rid of the EPA so they can spew their poison all over our environment without restraint.
Hey Justice Thomas and Mitt Romney, corporations are not people, they can’t go to jail for their misdeeds like people can.
Out of Touch How out of touch is Mitt Romney? He uses the oddest expressions it makes you wonder what type of people he hangs out with. Who is unable to recognize a donut? I don’t care how tongue tired you are, who can’t come up with the word donut? Maybe he’s never had one, is it possible he’s never been to a donut shop?
He’s so amazed at a touch screen to order a sandwich but calls it a touch tone instead of a touch screen. I just don’t get it. Why would he stand up in front of a group of people and say something so stupid? Oh I forgot, he doesn’t realize he’s clueless, he must think we’re all clueless.
Random Thought: The next time he says “If you will” I think I’m going to gag.
No matter what he does, he’s not a regular guy, he just doesn’t get it. He doesn’t understand what it’s like to worry about health insurance or medical bills. He doesn’t know what it’s like to not have enough money to pay all your bills. He can’t even comprehend having to work everyday. Willard has been unemployed for 7 years trying to run for President. Can you imagine a job interview that lasts 7 years. How would you pay your bills. Getting elected President is Mitt Romney’s job. He’s trying to accomplish something his father couldn’t. Sounds like there’s some kind of odd father son rivalry going on there. Maybe it’s not such a pretty picture after all.
If this was Mitt Romney’s job for the past 7 years, why didn’t he spend that time learning about real Americans? Why didn’t he travel the country in that time and get to know about people’s lives and struggles?
And why won’t Mitt Romney take a stand on anything? Why won’t he answer questions? Any question? John Fugelsang said while guest hosting The War Room on Current TV tonight that Mitt self deports from topics. Love it! Some people say he won’t take a position on any topic so that he can’t be accused of being a flip-flopper. I think it’s because he can’t remember his last position, he panders so much to the people he’s standing in front of. He’s rubber band man, he’ll say anything to gain approval from anyone. The question is what does he really think? Where does he really stand? How would he legislate? Nobody knows, I suspect including Mitt Romney.
Mitt Romney says he won’t give details because his views will evolve over time. Evolve over time? So that means that on any given day when you voted for Mitt Romney in a Primary, the views he spewed to you will be different when he gets to the General Election. They may even have evolved during the run up to the General Election, depending on who he’s talking to. If you had known that, would you have voted for him in the Primary? Do you feel like your vote was given under false pretenses?
According to Ron Reagan on Hardball tonight, he’s already said that if you knew the details to his economic plan you wouldn’t like it and you wouldn’t vote for him. How is he going to raise enough revenue in order to implement the Ryan Budget Plan? You can bet he won’t raise taxes on the top 1%. You can also bet that he won’t cut any tax deductions that he takes himself. Have you ever seen a man who works so hard not to pay taxes? Is that the guy you want for President? The guy who will do anything including off shore bank accounts to keep from paying taxes in the country he wants to become the leader of. What kind of example does that set? Better yet, what kind of man is that?

Nick gave an enlightening talk at TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) on the economy that speaks the truth! It’s a simple concept really. It verifies that the policies President Obama has been trying to implement are the answer. Obama’s proposed policies are the complete opposite of the views and policies of the Republican party. If Democrats had the back up they need to implement these policies, no thanks to the Republicans and Tea Party, today’s economy would look a lot different.
The current problem is not President Obama, the problem is the Republicans in Congress!!!!!!!! Come on America, we need to vote out ALL Republicans both in Congress and in the States.
Finally someone speaks the truth about how jobs are really created. It’s a simple concept: Make sure your consumers (the middle and lower class) can afford to buy your products!
When the 1% get more money they don’t hire people or create jobs, they don’t consume more, they invest the money, and not always in this country.
Don’t be fooled by what Mitt Romney and the Republicans say, they want to give MORE to the top 1%. These proposed policies are the Bush administration on steroids. Did you like the Bush economy? Did you like 750,000 jobs a month being lost? If Romney is elected President not only will we return to that, but President Obama and the Democrats won’t be there to protect your Unemployment, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Try the Bush economy WITHOUT the safety-net
