- Pacific Coast Feather Company
- Museum Quality Framing Company
- Amazon.com
- gear.com (which eventually merged with Overstock.com)
- Avenue A Media (which was acquired by Microsoft for $6.4 billion under the new name aQuantive)
Nick gave an enlightening talk at TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) on the economy that speaks the truth! It’s a simple concept really. It verifies that the policies President Obama has been trying to implement are the answer. Obama’s proposed policies are the complete opposite of the views and policies of the Republican party. If Democrats had the back up they need to implement these policies, no thanks to the Republicans and Tea Party, today’s economy would look a lot different.
The current problem is not President Obama, the problem is the Republicans in Congress!!!!!!!! Come on America, we need to vote out ALL Republicans both in Congress and in the States.
Finally someone speaks the truth about how jobs are really created. It’s a simple concept: Make sure your consumers (the middle and lower class) can afford to buy your products!
When the 1% get more money they don’t hire people or create jobs, they don’t consume more, they invest the money, and not always in this country.
Don’t be fooled by what Mitt Romney and the Republicans say, they want to give MORE to the top 1%. These proposed policies are the Bush administration on steroids. Did you like the Bush economy? Did you like 750,000 jobs a month being lost? If Romney is elected President not only will we return to that, but President Obama and the Democrats won’t be there to protect your Unemployment, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Try the Bush economy WITHOUT the safety-net
